Product names are trademarks of their owners and appear here only to describe the products. Reverie is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Every fact comes from the vendor’s own pages, which we read on 27 October 2026. Prices change, so check the vendor’s page before you buy.

How we ranked them

We ask five questions, in this order:

  1. Can guests upload without an app or account?

  2. Do you get the original files?

  3. Is the price a one-time payment, and what does it cap?

  4. Is the hosting region stated, and is it in the EU?

  5. Do the slideshow and photo prompts come with the plan you buy?

We make Reverie, so this ranking reflects what we value in a photo gallery. Guests can upload in a browser, and you can download the originals. The gallery, slideshow and prompts are available on every event. Reverie is hosted in the EU; the first 20 uploads are free, followed by one payment per event.

everlense also meets these criteria on its own pages. Its packages have different guest and image limits. The rest of the order is our judgement, and the best choice for you will depend on which features matter to you.

Reverie

Best for: any wedding where guests scan, upload and are done, and you want the originals afterwards.

Guests scan a QR code and upload from their phone browser into a private event gallery. The first 20 uploads are free, and one payment per event removes the limit for every guest. You can export the originals as an archive or once to your own Google Drive. The first export of either kind closes uploads. Uploads close 28 days after the most recent upload, and the gallery keeps photos and videos for 12 months after that. Reverie is run from Lübeck, Germany and hosted in the EU. It has no reveal-later mode: photos appear as soon as they are uploaded. See Reverie for weddings.

everlense

Best for: a German wedding that wants photo tasks and a live slideshow in every package, with servers in Germany.

everlense sells one-time packages by size. Basis costs €29 and allows 500 images and 75 guests. Premium costs €69 for 5,000 images and 250 guests, and Deluxe €139 for 10,000 images and unlimited guests. A free event allows 50 images and 15 guests. Videos start with Premium. everlense says its servers are in Germany. Compare: everlense vs Reverie.

FridaySnap

Best for: one fixed price, photo games and a live show, with printed table cards if you want them.

FridaySnap is a single one-time purchase of €39.99, VAT included. Guests upload photos and videos without an app or an email address, and images are stored in original resolution for 12 months from first use, with an optional extension. FridaySnap says its servers are in Europe. Compare: FridaySnap vs Reverie.

GuestPix

Best for: a digital invitation and RSVPs alongside the gallery, with a free plan to try first.

GuestPix is a one-time payment with no recurring charges. The free plan allows 50 photos and a 30-day upload window. Paid packages include unlimited photos and videos and a slideshow, with 12 months of hosting on Classic and Signature. Guests need no account and no app. Compare: GuestPix vs Reverie.

WedUploader

Best for: hosts who want every upload to land directly in their own Google Drive.

WedUploader says it transfers guest uploads straight to your Google Drive, sets no upload limit and lets albums never expire. Storage is whatever your Drive holds, which is 15 GB free per Google account. The fullscreen slideshow is part of the one-time Premium unlock. Reverie’s Drive export is a single export to your own Drive after the event: see Google Drive. Compare: WedUploader vs Reverie.

Wedibox

Best for: a photo gallery alongside RSVPs and a seating chart.

Wedibox offers a free plan with 50 uploads and a scavenger hunt, and three one-time plans: Embed at $29, Wedding at $49 and All-In-One at $79, with a 14-day money-back guarantee on the last two. The live slideshow and an original-quality ZIP are on the Wedding plan. RSVPs and the seating chart come with All-In-One. Compare: Wedibox vs Reverie.

Kululu

Best for: a quick free album with a Live Photo Wall on every plan.

Every Kululu event starts on the free plan, and you can upgrade a single event to Plus or Pro with a one-time payment and no subscription. Photos on the free plan are only slightly compressed. Plus and Pro events can download everything in original quality. Compare: Kululu vs Reverie.

weddies

Best for: a family-run German provider with a video guestbook and an optional photo booth.

The free Basis album holds 30 photos for one month at standard resolution. Premium is a one-time €59.99 for 12 months or €79.99 for 24 months, with unlimited photos and videos, original resolution and a live slideshow. Guests use the album in the browser without registering, and weddies says its data stays on servers in Germany. Compare: weddies vs Reverie.

Momentral

Best for: an Albanian-speaking wedding that wants invitations, RSVPs and a gallery in one app.

Momentral has Albanian-language pages. Guests need no app, but uploading photos asks for a quick browser sign-in. Plans cost €19.90 to €59.90 per event, with 500 to 5,000 photos, and every plan includes original-quality downloads. Momentral deletes event content 90 days after the event date. Compare: Momentral vs Reverie.

When a chat or a shared folder is enough

For a small gathering, the tools guests already have can do the job:

  • WhatsApp group. Free and familiar, but guests need WhatsApp, photos are compressed by default and they end up buried in the chat. See WhatsApp group vs Reverie.

  • Google Photos shared album. Free with 15 GB per Google account, shared with Gmail and Drive. Whether you keep the original quality depends on the backup setting. See Google Photos shared album vs Reverie.

  • Google Drive folder. Free and entirely yours, and uploads from signed-in guests count against their own storage. See Google Drive folder vs Reverie.

Questions to ask before you pay

  • Can a guest upload with nothing but the phone camera and the browser?

  • Do you receive the original files, and in what form?

  • What does the price cap: photos, guests, videos or time?

  • How long do the files stay online, and counted from when?

  • Where is the data hosted, and does the provider say so?
